American DJ and record producer, Diplo, has been seen wearing the Super Eagles jersey for the 2018 FIFA World Cup holding in Russia.
Diplo was at the stadium on Thursday before the match between Russia and Saudi Arabia which ended 5-0 in favour of the host nation.
The 39-year-old took to Instagram to share a video of himself dancing to his mixtape.
He captioned the video, “When you go to the world cup promote your mixtape.”
Produced by Nike, the Nigeria jersey has garnered lots of attention since it was made available to the public, as it has been worn by celebrities and people from other continents.
On Thursday, British GQ magazine ranked all the kits of the national teams competing in the 2018 World Cup, worst to best.
The Super Eagles’ kit sits atop the list, with the magazine describing it as “eccentric and off-the-wall in the best possible way.”
Croatia, Nigeria’s first opponent, has its checked red and white at second place. Argentina’s three stripes make number 3.
