X3M Music artiste, Dapo, has revealed that he has a huge crush on female label mate, Simi.
Dapo was recently signed under the management of X3M Music by popular singer Praiz.
In a chat with Punch published on Saturday, he revealed that he has a huge crush on Simi but she does not know about it.
Dapo said, “I get star struck when I am with Simi and I am a big fan of hers. There was a time we went out together and I had to post our picture on my Instagram page because I have a huge crush on her.
“However, she does not know that I have a crush on her. She has a wonderful voice. We already have plans to do music together.”
The singer noted that although he just got a record deal, the phone calls he receives has increased drastically and most of the people calling him are unknown women.
“The major problem I have is women. For an artiste like me, I need the women more so that they can help me shine brighter because once the ladies accept you, then you would make it. I cannot get anyone pregnant at this stage because it could destroy my career.
“A lot of ladies send me messages but I think it is a normal thing. I like beautiful girls a lot but I try to control myself because there is no how you would not see a lady you like,” he said.
The 26-year-old recently released a song, ‘Necessary,’ which is dominating the airwaves across Lagos.
Praiz, whose management company is also under Steve Babaeko’s X3M Music, discovered Dapo in the last season of the music reality show, Project Fame, on which he served as a judge.
Praiz himself is a product of the talent show, having finished second runner-up in Project Fame West Africa 2008 won by Iyanya.
