Sergio Ramos has proposed to his girlfriend Pilar Rubio following heartbreak with Spain at the World Cup 2018.
The Real Madrid star, 32, who captained the national team during their World Cup bid in Russia recently, popped the question just days after the tournament came to a close.
Pilar, 40, revealed the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a series of loved-up snaps with her 2.6 million followers.
“I said yes,” she gushed, tagging her husband-to-be and adding: “I love you… forever.”

Ramos and Pilar started dating in 2012 and have three children together.
