American rapper and music mogul, Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, P. Diddy or Puff Daddy, has told Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid, that he is coming to Nigeria.
Wizkid visited P Diddy, founder of Bad Boy Records, in his home in Los Angeles on Thursday.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the 48-year-old said he can’t wait to come home (Nigeria).
“King (Wizkid) touched down, came to see the god, he hit me with some love, some positive vibrations from the motherland.
“Be clear, Y’all know I am coming back home (Nigeria), I ain’t gon wait too long. I am coming home,” he said.
The hip-hop superstar hailed Falz in May for his music video, ‘This is Nigeria’.
The song mirrors the concept used by the American musician/filmmaker, Childish Gambino, in his hit song ‘This is America’.
Reacting to the video, P Diddy posted a short clip of the video on Instagram.
Acknowledging Falz, he wrote: “#Nigeria LETS GO!
He had previously visited the country for a concert organised by ThisDay newspaper.
