He may not be involved in any transfer move this summer but Nigerian footballer, Victor Anichebe, has made a signing that may yet prove significant.
The West Bromwich Albion forward joined micro blogging site, Twitter, on Wednesday, June 24 to the delight of his club and supporters.
He signed on with the message “Let’s see what the @twitter hype is all about then”.
His Twitter handle is @_VictorAnichebe
The English Premier League club has urged fans to follow the footballer.
A monitoring by qed.ng saw his followers increase from 225 to 53 within 40 minutes on Friday.
The 27-year-old was following just three people as at the time of filing this report
