Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, on Friday celebrated her birthday as she added another year to her age.
In a post to Instagram, Angela shared a beautiful picture of herself, appreciating God for another year of life.
She captioned the picture, “It’s officially my birthday Lord I thank you for the gift of life.”

Born in Benin Republic
The actress was born and brought up in Cotonou. She attended the Lagos State University, where she studied public administration. She moved on to get a degree in theatre art from the University of Lagos.
Made acting debut in 2009
Angela made her acting debut in 2009. She joined Nollywood after modelling for Orange Drugs’ Delta Soap for ten years. Coruma International Production film Holy Serpent shot her into the limelight.
Happily married
The Pains in Marriage actress is happily married to Chukwuma Orizu and a proud mother of a handsome boy named, Chamberlin.
In a publication by the Dailypost newspaper, she explained that she usually makes a conscious effort to separate her family from the media.
Against lesbianism
Speaking on lesbianism in Nigeria, she explained that she is against it, particularly because “Our culture forbids it. It is a sin and it is uncalled for. Why would a woman be romantically involved with another woman?”
Desires to do music
She revealed that she has plans of going into music in the future. According to the actress, her style of music is RnB gospel.
