With tears in her eyes, Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, on Monday sent an emotional message to her husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie, as they celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary.
The pair got married in 2011. The wedding ceremony was held at Christ Embassy, Ikeja, following the traditional marriage on August 26 at the Iyana Iba area of Lagos.
To celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary, Mercy and Odianosen took to Instagram on Monday to share messages of endearment to each other.
“I am in tears as I write because I can’t comprehend what I did right to deserve you. Even when I can’t comprehend myself, I do know that you Love me and that I will be fine with you by my side HWA @princeodiokojie, I Love You. 7yrs and still counting,” Mercy wrote to her husband.
“Our name is called ‘SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE’ So much is going on now but you will be fine…..I am Here Always. Happy Wedding Anniversary to us….I love you babes,” the husband responded.
Early this year, reports made the rounds that she was experiencing turbulence in her marriage after she deleted pictures of her husband from her Instagram account.
Speaking in an interview with Punch, she said: “There was absolutely no problem between my husband and me. I only deleted the old pictures on my Instagram page. They were old so I deleted them to post new ones.
“I am not letting my husband go. Even when he is angry, I would beg him. You see these beautiful rings that he has given to me, I am never returning them.”
