Comedian and actor, Bovi, has reprimanded his colleague, I Go Dye, for criticising the former Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Uduaghan, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), was governor from 2007 to 2015.
He is reportedly seeking election to the Senate.
Reacting to the development in an Instagram post on Wednesday, I Go Dye said Uduaghan “should be advocating for a younger candidate, instead of the personal ambition to run for the senatorial position in Delta State.”
He also accused the former governor of mismanaging state resources, alleging that nothing can be ascribed to him “in terms of infrastructural and human capital development.”
For that reason, I Go Dye said Uduaghan should not seek any elective office in Delta.
Bovi, however, took to the comment section of the post to ask why I Go Dye did not tell Uduaghan these things when was governor because he visited him several times and also happened to be his friend.
“I don’t understand. Why didn’t you tell him all these while he was governor? Because I know you were his visitor and friend multiple times till the end of his tenure,” Bovi wrote.
