Actress and producer, Kemi Lala Akindoju, and celebrity chef, Gbubemi Fregene, have announced their marriage to the joy of friends and well-wishers.
The duo, who have been dating on the down low for a while, went public with their relationship on Sunday.
“More than I am.
“Ecstatic about who WE are becoming.
“The one with whom I shall fulfill purpose.
“OritseGbubemi Fregene I’m ready for forever,” the 31-year-old actress wrote in an Instagram post.
On his part, Gbubemi wrote: “One day changed everything.
“One day is changing everything.
“You are my testimony.
“You are my new song. My bassline of life.
“You are the what Grace did for me.
“You are the beautiful I could finally hold.
“Biggest Proof that God stays mindful of me because of His reckless and Unending Love.
“That his Love is all around. Never letting me go.
“Thank you for taking a chance on this boy and seeing the man in him.”
Sources say the marriage will hold on Sunday (today).
An insurance graduate of the University of Lagos, Lala started her acting career in 2005 from stage performance before venturing into feature films.
She has appeared in films like Alan Poza, The CEO, Fifty, Suru L’ere and Dazzling Mirage for which she won the trailblazer award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
She was a “groom’s man” at OC Ukeje’s wedding in 2014.
