An overwhelming majority of Leeds United fans have urged their club to sign ex-Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike.
Emenike, 31, is currently a free agent after two injury-ridden years at Olympiakos.
The Nigerian is in search of another job having failed to secure any during the summer.
Championship pacesetters, Leeds, are currently facing injury nightmare at the final third.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side was dealt a huge double injury blow when Kemar Roofe was ruled out of the trip to Millwall on Saturday with new signing Patrick Bamford already out for four months with a knee ligament injury.
Bielsa only has a 22-man squad at the moment and may need to look to the plethora of free-agents who are currently still available in order to provide cover.
And according to a poll conducted UK website, FootballFanCast, the 31-year-old pulled 83 per cent of the votes.
The Whites faithful perceive Emenike as the perfect man for the job, though if Bielsa could convince him to move to Elland Road.
Should that move happen, the poacher will be avoiding a repeat of his last stint in England.
Emenike didn’t find the target in 13 Premier League appearances on loan at West Ham in 2016.
He is fondly remembered at Fenerbahce and Spartak Moscow for bullying opposition defence.
