AY celebrates 10th wedding anniversary

Comedian and filmmaker Ayo (AY) Makun is celebrating 10 years of marriage to his wife Mabel.

As it is customary with celebrities, the couple posted messages on Instagram to mark their special day.

“I may not be able to explain my feelings in word, but this 10th year wedding anniversary simply attests to the fact that we are meant for each other. Today is as special in my life as I believe it is in yours,” the Merry Men producer wrote.

He went on to thank her for taking good care of him and for turning their house into a home.

“Thank you for the sweet memories that come with our gifted daughter Michelle, and all the wonderful years we have shared,” he added.

Not like we have made this last 10 years the easiest way to live together, or paint the picture of a perfect relationship from the last 15 years that i have known you. But our patience, perseverance and love for each other have made it look so easy and effortless till date. Mabel too said she is “grateful to God for the gift of life, good health, love, family and friends.”

Mabel reportedly, an interior designer, left the 47-year-old comedian in 2016 over an unexplained misunderstanding.

Although the couple dismissed the reports, Mabel publicly told Freda Francis to leave AY alone after the socialite took a picture with the comedian in 2017.
