Presidential candidate of the Providence Peoples Congress (PPC) Victor Okhai is celebrating 26 years of marriage.
The filmmaker turned politician announced the anniversary in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
“26 today! To God be the glory,” the former Young Democratic Party (YDP) member wrote.
Okhai is the founder of Lagos-based International Film and Broadcast Academy and In-Short Film Festival.
Born to a Niger Delta father and Igbo mother, Okhai believes he is a credible alternative to President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria’s president in 2019.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent in November, Okhai said “people like President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar have lived all their lives on government patronages and in all their lives they don’t have experience with what poverty is all about and as such don’t know what ordinary Nigerians are going through on daily basis.”
