Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose on Wednesday survived an auto accident on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known at press time.
Fayose’s media aide Lere Olayinka said in a Twitter post that his boss was in stable condition and receiving treatment.
“Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose was involved in auto accident on 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos few minutes ago. He is in stable condition as I write while he is receiving medical attention,” Olayinka wrote.

Fayose narrowly escaped death in October 2017 when his Mercedes-Benz G-Class caught fire on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos.
The former governor left the scene of the lone accident in another car which was in his convoy while his driver reportedly waited behind until the fire was put off to pack some burnt N500 notes and other items in the car.
