General Overseer of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Samuel Abiara has identified one of the reasons for divorce as inability of couples to forgive one another.
Mr Abiara said this on Thursday at the ongoing Holy Ghost Congress 2018 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The 75-year-old preacher who lost his wife in 2016 began his sermon by introducing his new wife to the congregation.

Speaking during a prayer session for families, Abiara said many couples do not keep the law of marriage which is forgiveness.
“The bible says that a man has the right to remarry after he lost his wife, but God never wants separation.
“The bible also said let the ‘brotherly love continue’, but most couples do not forgive each other and that’s the reason for most broken homes.
“You should always pray for peace of God to reign in your family,” Abiara said.
He warned wives of pastors to stop parading their husband’s offices when they see female members who come for counselling.
He also warned pators to counsel people in an open space to avert temptation.
