Lagos State Action Democratic Party (ADP) governorship candidate Babatunde Gbadamosi say some people are plotting to kill him like they did Funsho Williams.
The real estate developer made the allegation on different social media platforms on Friday.
“I want the world to know now that some political personages in Lagos State are making plans to murder me if they can’t stop me democratically,” Gbadamosi said.
He added that Williams relied on police protection, but he was still murdered “the very night he went to make a formal complaint to the police at Zone 2 Police Headquarters at Onikan about a threat to his life.”
Eliminating Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a suspect, Gbadamosi said “a particular candidate is telling his innocent young volunteers that I am the real threat to his ‘ambition’ and not the incumbent party.”
I am aware that a particular candidate is telling his innocent young volunteers that I am the real threat to his “ambition”, & not the incumbent party! Sir, you underestimate the natural human desire for freedom.

Williams was found dead at his home in Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi on July 27, 2006.
He was planning to contest the 2007 Lagos governorship election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
No one has been convicted for the death.
