The senator representing Kogi West senatorial district in the National Assembly Dino Melaye has released a video where he is seen singing about President Muhammadu Buhari being the cause of poverty and hunger in the country.
Mr Melaye released the video on Instagram on Tuesday captioned “Say NO to poverty and hunger.”
The controversial senator asked Nigerians to vote out President Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 election describing them as pretentious and deceptive.
Melaye sang in Yoruba language, saying that Mr Buhari is the cause of the high cost of cassava end-product, garri.
He added that Buhari has taken pounded yam beyond the reach of the people and has become lord over rice.
