Tuesday night was one of those rare nights where football fans were proud to be English.
With the Manchester contingents certain to make the last-16, attention switched to Liverpool and Tottenham.
Both didn’t disappoint, joining the pair in the business end.
The Reds defeated Napoli 1-0 while Spurs pulled a surprise 1-1 draw at Barcelona.
What this means is that four Premier League sides will partake in Monday’s draw.
Here’s what the English media had to say.
