Veteran actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has announced that her first movie as a director, Lionheart, is now available for streaming on movie-for-rent service provider, Netflix.
The screen goddess revealed this on Friday on Twitter.
“#LionHeartTheMovie NOW SHOWING on #Netflix. #NetflixOriginal,” she wrote alongside a picture from the movie.
In 2018, the 39-year-old accused Nigerian cinemas of conspiring against listing her movie for viewership.
She specifically mentioned FilmOne as one of the major distributors who shut the door against her.
Lionheart premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018 starring Genevieve, Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu, Nkem Owoh among others.
