UK-based Nigerian comedian, Wale Gates, has celebrated the first birthday of his second child.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) graduate of economics made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Wale captioned one picture of his daughter: “It’s 08 – 01 – 19 S.O.P.H.I.E 🎂🎂🎂 😍😍😍😍 #babysophie Is ONE today #daddyslittlegirl #iloveyou #firstbirthday”
He added in another picture of both of his daughters: “Happy Birthday… SOPHIE IS ONE Both have been amazing in the last one year, love them both.”
Wale had announced that his wife, Lanre, had given birth to another daughter, Sophie, in an Instagram post in January 2018.
Wale and Lanre Gates got married on December 20, 2010.
Their first child, Ayomide, was born on February 4, 2011, at Medway Hospital, Gillingham, Kent, England.
