Davido hails fan for buying tricycle with N1m gift

Pop musician, Davido, has praised a fan he gave N1million earlier in January for purchasing a tricycle to start a transport business.

The 26-year-old musician revealed this on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Wise investment ! Gbe maruwa eh I think say him go spend d money finish! Smart dude,” Davido wrote.

The ‘Assurance’ singer promised the fan the huge sum of money at his City of David concert in December 2018 for his efforts in protecting women from being harassed at the event.

The fan later appeared in a viral video calling out the musician for failing to give him the promised money.

Davido’s personal assistant, Lati, later handed over the cash to the fan in a video posted on Instagram.
