Sterling Bank has mocked Access Bank and Diamond Bank over waste generated during Lagos City marathon.
In a tweet on Saturday, Sterling Bank boasted that it was committed to keeping Lagos clean with pictures of waste disposers clearing waste generated during the marathon in branded Sterling Bank jumpsuit.
“Well, one bank has to stay committed to keeping Lagos clean. Congratulations @myaccessbank and @diamondbankng on a successful marathon,” the bank wrote.
An Ethiopian Athlete, Sintayehu Legese, won the 2019 edition of the Lagos City Marathon.
The competition started at 6.25 a.m. on Saturday with no fewer than 20,000 runners.
Gideon Goyet emerged the first Nigerian to cross the marathon finish line, scooping home a N3 million prize for his efforts.
