US pop star, Ariana Grande, has pulled out of performing at the Grammy’s and might not attend the music award show on Sunday.
The Dangerous Woman singer is said to be pulling out due to a disagreement with Grammy producers over which songs she would be allowed to perform at the event.
Ariana Grande’s pictures have been featured on billboards promoting the Grammy’s all over Los Angeles.
A source told celebrity news website, Variety that Grande felt “insulted” after producers initially refused to allow her to perform “7 Rings,” the latest single from her forthcoming album “Thank U, Next” (set to be released on Friday, two days before the Grammys).
A compromise was reached where “7 Rings” would be part of a medley, but Grande pulled out after producers insisted that the second song be of their choosing.
The source added that such stipulations were not imposed on other performers at the show.
The 25-year-old is nominated for two Grammy awards in the Best Pop Vocal Performance category and Best Pop Vocal Album.
