The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, has welcomed the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to the state for its presidential rally.
The rally, holding at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), has seen thousands of supporters turn out in the party’s colours to welcome Atiku.
“Happening now: As we enter the final stretch of campaigns, it’s appropriate for me to say that we are absolutely proud of our people, their dedication and the sacrifices that they’ve made for us to be here today. Lagos welcomes you @atiku #AtikuLoNiEko #AgbajeHostsAtiku,” Agbaje wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
Social media have been agog since Tuesday morning for the former vice president’s visit to the state.
