Showbiz promoter, Shina Peller, has announced a one-day closure of his Quilox nightclub for the presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.
Mr Peller is the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency of Oyo State.
Announcing the closure of Quilox in an Instagram post on Wednesday, the 44-year-old said the decision was taken “to enable our esteemed customers and staff take the opportunity to be well prepared to cast their votes on Saturday the 16th of February 2019.”
Peller is the founder and chief executive officer of Aquila Group of Companies.
He emerged the APC House of Reps candidate in October 2018 with the help of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.
Located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Quilox is a preferred fun spot for many celebrities and politicians.
A devoted Muslim, Peller shuts down the nightclub during the month of Ramadan every year.
