American rapper, Cardi B, has reactivated her Instagram account 48 hours after deactivating it due to backlash over her historic Grammy win on Sunday.
The 26-year-old musician, on Thursday, while announcing her return to the social media platform, wrote that she would release a new song on Friday featuring Bruno Mars.
“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars. #twogrammywinningartist,” she wrote.
Cardi B had deleted her Instagram account on Tuesday after fans repeatedly told her that she did not deserve to win Best Rap Album of the Year award.
She first deleted a post defending the work she put in while creating her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, before deactivating the account.
Cardi B became the first solo female artiste to win best rap album in Grammy History.
