Some Nigerians have declared interest in relocating to Canada following the postponement of the general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The North American country has long been a destination of choice for many in Africa’s most populous country.

Celebrities and other professionals are known to have moved their families over there in recent years.

With INEC chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, announcing early on Saturday morning that national elections have been postponed from February 16 to 23 and state elections from May 2 to 9, frustrated Nigerians have renewed their desire to seek residency in Canada.
