Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has said that one of the reasons responsible for postponement of the elections is that the commission is overburdened with responsibilities.
The INEC chair said this on Saturday while addressing stakeholders at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Prof. Yakubu suggested that work would be made lighter if the commission is only saddled with the responsibility of conducting elections.
