Nigerians have praised the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, for confronting the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, over the body’s decision to postpone elections hours to its commencement.
Oshiomhole told stakeholders in a meeting with the electoral commission on Saturday in Abuja that the commission had embarrassed the country by waiting until hours to the elections before realising it had challenges in logistics.
“APC is not impressed by your excuses. Why wait till 2:30am when most decent Nigerians have gone to bed?” Oshiomhole said.
Nigerians have now hailed the APC leader for his bluntness in addressing the postponement of elections which has left Nigerians disappointed.
