The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced its special National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting is being presided over by the party’s national chairman, Uche Secondus.
PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is also in attendance.
Top on the agenda for the meeting is the party’s next step following the postponement of general elections by one week.
The PDP would also be looking to respond to President Muhammadu Buhari’s controversial statement on Monday about having ballot box snatchers pay with their lives if caught.
