Twitter users have showered praises on Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel creative director and fashion icon, after his death in Paris at the age of 85.
Lagerfeld was the Creative Director of Chanel, the French house founded by Gabrielle Chanel, for an era-defining 36 years starting from 1983.
His death was announced by French fashion house, Chanel on Tuesday.
