Senate President, Bukola Saraki, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost one of four local governments that make up Kwara Central Senatorial District to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Oloriegbe.
Results of National Assembly elections held on Saturday in Asa local government show that PDP scored 11, 252 votes while APC polled 15,932 votes.
The returning officer, on Sunday at the INEC office, gave the number of registered voters as 73,425, while accredited voters are 29,023.
Results are still being expected in three other local governments in the senatorial district — Ilorin West, Ilorin East and Ilorin South.
