Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has been declared the winner of the Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro Federal Constituency election in Bauchi State.
Dogara was declared winner by the returning officer for the constituency around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The Speaker polled 73,609 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dalhatu Kantana, who got 50,078 votes.
