Pop musician, Davido, has reacted to the election results that have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The 26-year-old singer gave his reaction via InstaStories on Tuesday.
In a post he said: “We all tried.”
“Hopefully one day, real change will come,’ he added in another post.
After months of mobilising voters for the general elections, Davido, was in far-away South Africa as Nigerians voted in the presidential and National Assembly polls on Saturday.
Despite not being physically present, the ‘Aye’ singer monitored the election process on social media.
An unsparing critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, the Atiku Abubakar supporter posted several messages on Twitter alleging that there were plots by the Federal Government to rig the election.
