President Muhammadu Buhari has met with Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Sunday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Amosun was suspended on Friday by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for anti-party activities.
The Ogun State governor has been vocal about his support for the governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Adekunle Akinlade, as against Dapo Abiodun of the APC.
Details of the closed-door meeting was not made public, but it is suspected to be connected with Amosun’s suspension.
