Label owner, Luther Roderick Campbell, aka Uncle Luke, launched a scathing attack on Kanye West in an interview with WatchLoud.
When asked about the difference between rap and R&B, when it comes to accepting ghost-writers, the Miami legend took the topic to another level and swung at the famous couple.
He said “It used to be a different, before Kanye West, rappers wasn’t wifin’ all these hoes. Rappers would be secure with they woman. You look at Ice Cube. He’s always been with is wife. You look at Will Smith. He’s always been with her. Hip Hop was different. We didn’t get caught up in the Hollywood thing, where, ok rappers are now marrying Hollywood girls, leaving one, going to the next one, leaving this one. We didn’t do that. I mean, we were like real secure. We wasn’t marrying girls or wifing girls, you know, for the Internet to blow up. It’s total different in our days.”
‘Kimye’ got married in a lavish private ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, in May 2014.
Kim Kardashian is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child. They had their first child North West in June 2013.
Uncle Luke, Luke Skyywalker, Solo Luke, or just Luke, was a member and leader of the notorious rap group, 2 Live Crew. Their sexually explicit songs were heavily criticised for taking rap lyrics to a new level of nastiness.
