Nigerian R&B star, Darey Art Alade, has urged Lagos state governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to rid Lagos of his campaign posters and paraphernalia when he assumes office.
The 35-year-old singer gave the advice in tweet on Monday.
“First thing Sanwoolu needs to do once he resumes office is to rid Lagos of all his campaign posters and paraphernalia! Restore some sanity!!” he wrote.
Darey Art Alade is the son of renowned Nigerian entertainer, Art Alade.
He has worked in the entertainment industry in the last decade as a disc jockey, TV presenter, entertainment consultant, voice over artist and performing/recording artist.
Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu achieved a comfortable victory over his closest opponent, Jimi Agbaje, in the governorship elections held on Saturday, March 9.
