Twitter users have rained praises on the commissioner of police in Kano State, Wakili Mohammed, following the arrest of the state deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna.
Mr Gawuna, alongside the state commissioner for local government, Sule Garo, was arrested on Monday morning for allegedly disrupting collation of results of the governorship elections at the Nasarawa local government area collation centre.
Mr Wakili assumed office in February 2019 after taking over from Rabiu Yusuf following transfers of police commissioners by the Acting Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu.
Nigerians on Twitter have now heaped praises on Wakili whom they describe as a “fearless man”.
