No fewer than 22 persons have been rescued from the three-storey building that collapsed at Ita Faji, on Lagos Island on Wednesday.
Rescue operations are still ongoing.
Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has taken frontline role in the rescue operations.
The police and other security operatives are also at the scene of the collapsed building.
The three-storey building housed shops for sale of consumables and a primary school on its last floor.
