Garrison commander, 33 artillery brigade of Nigerian Army in Shadawanka Barracks, Bauchi State, Col. Mohammed Barack, has been killed by suspected gunmen.
He was killed on Sunday along Bauchi–Jos Road while riding a power bike from Kaduna.
Top officials of the army have been left in shock after the killing of the Kano-born soldier.
Spokesperson of 33 Artillery Brigade, Major Yahaya Kabara, confirmed the killing on Monday.
