Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Lagos State in March 9 election, Jimi Agbaje, has left the party.
Mr Fani-Kayode made this known in a tweet on Wednesday.
Former Ogun State governor and director general of the Atiku presidential campaign organisation, Gbenga Daniel, had last week written to the PDP chairman, Uche Secondus, of his decision to quit the party.
“First it was Musiliu Obanikoro, then Iyiola Omisore, then Gbenga Daniel and now Jimi Agbaje. All my closest friends and brothers are abandoning ship and leaving @OfficialPDPNig! Ouch! 😞😪😓😭😢,” Fani-Kayode wrote.
The news has not been confirmed by Mr Agbaje.
