Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the governorship supplementary election in Adamawa State for Thursday, March 28.
The state resident electoral commissioner, Kassim Gaidam, told journalists on Tuesday that the commission arrived at the decision after consultation with security agencies.
This comes after a Yola High Court lifted its interlocutory injunction restraining INEC from conducting the supplementary election.
Mr Gaidam said only voters carrying permanent voter cards (PVCs) of the affected polling units will have access to voting centres to avert breakdown of order.
