Multiple award-winning novelist, Chimamanda Adichie, has made the cover of an international magazine, Marie Claire Brazil.
The 41-year-old made her appearance on the magazine’s cover public in a post on Instagram on Saturday.
She wrote: “Delighted to be on the cover of Marie Claire Brazil. And to highlight the work of talented designers: Brazilian @renatabuzzo. veglab and Nigerians @ kikikamanu and @the_ladymaker
“Thanks you @lauraancona @driferreira @Kakakaren_ka @ruafilmes.
“And everyone at the Marie Claire Brazil team for taking a stand for feminism.”
Since its launch in 1991, Marie Claire Brazil has become one of the biggest fashion-oriented female magazines in Brazil.
Chimamanda came to limelight for her first novel titled Purple Hibiscus published in 2003.
She has gone to write others including Half of a Yellow Sun and Americanah.
