American singer, SZA, has changed her name on Instagram to Amarachi Chinonso.
The 29-year-old born Solána Imani Rowe, is the daughter of African American parents, a Christian mother and a Muslim father.
SZA is signed to the hip hop record label, Top Dawg Entertainment, which is the home of rappers, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
She featured on the song ‘All the Stars’ featuring Lamar for the Black Panther movie soundtrack in 2018.
SZA’s name, written out often as S-Z-A, is an acronym derived from the Supreme Alphabet. S-Z-A stands for “sovereign”, “zigzag”, and “Allah.”
