Ifu Ennada apologises over offensive N500,000 comment

Big Brother Naija 2018 star, Ifu Ennada, has apologised for an offending comment she made about having a friend who can give out N500,000 earlier on Friday.

In an earlier post about receiving N500,000 from music manager, Soso Soberekon, she said that the money wasn’t such a big sum.

Adding that those who didn’t have people they can comfortably ask for that amount from without anything in return should work on themselves and change their circle.

The reality TV star made an apology for the comments via Instagram.

“Some people were angered by a section of my last post – where I talked about 500k not really being a huge sum and how I feel having someone in your circle who can give that to you isn’t abnormal. Some even asked if I had people who could give me that kind of money before BBNaija.


“First of all I’m sorry if I cut across the wrong way. It wasn’t my intention to be that way,” she wrote in parts.

Earlier in the day, Ifu Ennada announced that she received a gift of N500,000 from music manager, Soso Soberekon sparking controversy.

Since then she has been accused of sleeping with men for money and being an online beggar.
