Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has dismissed the preliminary objection filed by Justice Walter Onnoghen challenging the tribunal’s jurisdiction.
On resumption by noon on Thursday, CCT chairman, Danladi Umar, also dismissed Onnoghen’s application asking him (Umar) to recuse himself from the trial on the grounds of bias.
The tribunal is now expected to deliver judgement on the merit of the five-count charge slammed on Onnoghen.
