Deputy commissioner of police Abba Kyari, who is currently suspended from the Force over alleged involvement in fraud, has deleted his Facebook post following the completion of a probe on him by a special investigation panel.

Mr Kyari faced investigation after being named by the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in a $1.1 million internet scam allegedly carried out by Instagram sensation Abbas Ramon aka Hushpuppi.

The suspended police officer had only on Thursday returned to social media following a three-week break. He shared on Facebook a 21-second hilarious TikTok video posted by Sanda Tobacco wherein a cart pusher was recorded displaying some roller skating skills while the videographer said the cart pusher “is very crazy wallahi!”

However, he had deleted the post as of Friday.

The move is one of many activities Kyari has carried out on his Facebook page after he was fingered in the alleged crime.

He had first posted that he found the FBI investigation funny. He soon deleted it.

On July 29, 2021, he chronicled his denial against the allegations but he later deleted the post after series of editing.

He also reposted a post in his defence by former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode.

The inspector-general of police Usman Baba is expected to file the panel’s report to the Police Service Commission for further action.
