The Presidency has announced that the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, would be buried on Saturday.
Kyari, a native of Borno State, died on Friday of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
He was first tested positive for the disease on March 23 and subsequently moved to a private hospital in Lagos for treatment.
Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, said Kyari’s remains will arrive Abuja from Lagos Saturday morning.
He added that Kyari’s body would be received by friends and cabinet colleagues at the airport in Abuja from where he will later be taken to a cemetery in Abuja for burial.
In line with social distancing directive, the burial would not be made open.
