Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa, comedian Ali Baba and wife, and the immediate past commissioner for tourism, arts and culture in Lagos, Steve Ayorinde, were some of the dignitaries who attended the launch of a new bakery in Ikorodu, Lagos by comedian Gbenga Adeyinka.
The ultra-modern facility called D-1ST Bakery was opened on Sunday.
Declaring the function open with prayers and other sundry activities, the duo of Pastor Olusegun Oluwalana and Pastor Yemi Isaac called on God to oversee the activities of the bakery and ward off evil.
Thereafter, the bakery was declared open for business by Mrs Dabiri-Erewa who in her speech eulogised Gbenga, while dedicating the facility and business to God.
The host provided the popular ‘ewa agoin’ (well cooked beans) and freshly-baked bread during the testing session.
Others who graced the occasion were a member of the House of Representatives Jimi Benson, Babajide Adediran, comedian Omobaba among others.
