Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Thursday night attended the mothers’ night get-together hosted by Kwara-born businesswoman Bola Shagaya for her new daughter-in-law Ayotola nee Odebiyi.
Shagaya hosted the mothers’ only event at her Maitama, Abuja residence.
Businesswomen, politicans, wives of politicians among others graced the occasion.
On July 6, Shagaya’s son Muktar wedded Ayotola at a traditional ceremony held at Harbour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Among those present at the Lagos event were former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Vice President Kashim Shettima, Lagos State Governor Babajdie Sanwo-Olu; Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke; Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun; former governor of Cross River Donald Duke; Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat; former governor of Ogun State Segun Osoba; Senator Gbenga Daniel; Toyin Saraki; and Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.
