Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has congratulated Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka on the team’s FA Cup and Community Shield victory.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa tweeted on Tuesday: “Hearty Congrats @BukayoSaka87. We wish you more successes ahead @seguneros.”
Arsenal defeated Chelsea on August 1 to secure their 14th FA Cup title while they beat Liverpool on penalties on Saturday to claim their first trophy of the 2020/2021 season.
Saka, 18, is yet to receive a senior call-up for the Three Lions of England after starring for the youth side.
He was snubbed by England manager Gareth Southgate for the Nations League games away to Iceland on Saturday and Denmark on September 8.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is looking to woo the Arsenal teenager to represent the green-white-green.
